The 2017 Juffer Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese –Goldkapsel– is clear, bright, fresh, beautifully precise and flinty with white fruit and prominent flinty slate aromas. On the palate, this is a salty-piquant, firm and tightly woven yet refined and very energetic Juffer Sonnenuhr with a long and stimulatingly salty finish. Fabulous and dangerous—it's difficult to not drink the whole bottle in 20 minutes. Tasted in March 2019.
