Richard Geoffroy: ‘we rightly declared this but it was a bit of a struggle – although I’m glad we did because 1994 was so awful’.
Buttery nose – this reminds me of old-fashioned Meursault! Broad and open. Exciting with a hint of ginger beer. Long undertow. Tasting really well tonight. (JR)
