The 2023 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Plessys comes from vines with a more southeast orientation and was apparently quite reductive for a while. The reduction does come through on the nose but there is plenty of concentration here and I appreciate the delineation. The palate is well balanced with just a hint of brioche on the tender finish. Everything feels controlled and focused, a Pouilly-Fuissé that should age with style.
