Lots of sweet tobacco and currant character here. Full and powerful with a major dose of new wood and rich fruit. Long and chewy, a powerful wine.

Racy, fragrant, polished and sophisticated. The alcohol seeps through on the finish but overall this is a wine with more personality than just the vintage. Very dry finish though. Ambitious.
