This has attractive peach and pear aromas married with grilled rosemary and flint. Creamy and full-bodied, with a chalky freshness and pithy texture that gives plenty of mouthfeel. Cool and mineral finish. Sustainable. Drink or hold.

Weissenkirchen. Just 27 m from the Danube, terraced with slopes of 41–83%, facing west and south-east, stretching up from the river all the way to the forest. Extremely complex and diverse range of soils.
Spicy, almost a little bit savoury/mealy first impression. Peppery pears, and sweeter-fruited with air. Dry, textured, medium weight on the palate but long thanks to the texture. Julia Harding MW

Light yellow-green, silver reflections. Fine yellow apple fruit, a touch of meadow herbs, delicate mango and honeydew melon, subtle lime touch, light smoky note. Juicy, elegant, fine nuances of white stone fruit, finesse-rich acidity, mineral-salty, remains long lasting, a multi-faceted companion at the table.
