A pretty pink ruby colour. The bouquet is not giving us much but there is notably more to the palate, with a briary dark fruit, an additional lick of oak, and clearly more persistence. Their plot is sideways on and has to be worked by a horse. Long and quite fine, not especially plump but with good tension. 50% new wood which it can take. 40% whole bunch vinification.
