The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets is also superb, mingling aromas of citrus oil and peach with notes of nutmeg, freshly baked bread and wet stones. Medium to full-bodied, layered and chalky, it's taut and incisive, with racy acids and a long, saline finish.
Clear, fine stony bouquet. Just a faint oxidative element. Excellent weight, quite high acidity, white fruit with stones, plenty of intensity but nothing heavy. I think the oxidative aspect is oak related, and it has not been judged quite perfectly. The only blemish on an otherwise fine wine.
