The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Village is pure and crystalline, exhibiting scents of sweet raspberries, petals and spices, framed by a deft touch of new oak. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and bright, it's fine-boned and elegant, concluding with a persistent, mouthwateringly saline finish.
Made from a variety of plots and ages. The oldest come from Chalandins (50 plus years). An attractive ruby purple, “back to the old days”, says Marie-Christine. Here the fruit really fills the mouth, on the cusp of red and black, with good acidity. A graceful finish of medium length.
