2024 proved to be a challenging year for all of Burgundy. Cool and rainy weather from spring through summer increased the risk of gray mold and led to a lower yield; however, the producers, having carefully selected the grapes, managed to create wines of the highest quality. The “Clos de Vougeot 2024” from Hudelot-Noellat is made from grapes grown on a 0.69-hectare plot, planted in 1950, where organic farming has been practiced since 2019. This is one of the “Clos de Vougeot” wines from which one can expect a particularly refined flavor. It is recommended for drinking between 2027 and 2045.
