Dramatic and enveloping, the 2018 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes soars from the glass with an expressive bouquet of raspberries, cherries and plums mingled with candied peel, sweet soil tones and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and textural, it's rich and concentrated while remaining lively and beautifully defined, concluding with a long and rose-inflected finish.

The 2018 Les Charmes is a very substantial full-bodied Charmes, just a little bit riper than much of the range and the tannins are a bit firmer at the finish.
