The 2003 PERA MANCA is the 8th release of this since 1990. It comes complete with a new label, and seems cleaner and friendlier than many older vintages. The tannins are fine, and the mid-palate is elegant. It still has a backbone and intensity, and flavorful fruit. It will be interesting to see if it stays this way, or turns green with some age. At the moment, it is very attractive.
