Winespectator (93)

Fresh and expressive, this red displays cherry, raspberry, earth, leather and menthol flavors. There are gripping tannins, yet it's the vivid acidity that makes a stronger impact as it propels the long finish. Best from 2028 through 2045.

James Suckling (94)

Pretty Brunello with licorice, smoky woodland and ripe black cherries. Medium-bodied, soft and velvety at the start, then thick with an austere finish. Refreshing acidity. Good definition and savoriness here, yet it’s mostly fruity. Needs time to develop greater complexity. Drinkable now, but best from 2026.

Jancis Robinson (16.50)

Lustrous mid ruby. Lifted cherry with more than a hint of pine. Elegant juicy fruit palate with fine chewy tannins. Really approachable and charming and ready now. (WS)

Falstaff (92)

Bright ruby red colour with a purple hue. Fragrant and fruity on the nose, cherry and hibiscus, as well as a hint of purples. It is refreshing and harmonious on the palate, with lots of juice, ripe tannins, animating acidity, and a medium-long finish.
