At the time of writing it was unclear if this wine would be labelled as Etna DOC or IGP Terre Siciliane. Contrada Feudo di Mezzo (Sottana).
Cask sample. Mid crimson. Complex, perfumed ripe nose and intense and rich raspberry fruit palate with bags of nutty tasting tannins. Long and with exotic spice notes on the finish. Just enough acidity. (WS)
