The 2020 Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Sous Frétille is fleshy and enveloping, bursting with aromas of yellow orchard fruit, beeswax, nutmeg and vanilla pod. Full-bodied, ample and textural, with lively acids and structuring dry extract, it's a rather rich, expansive rendition of this cooler site.
