An exuberantly spicy and attractively fresh nose combines both red and dark berry fruit aromas with those of violet, lavender and sandalwood that are trimmed in just enough oak to notice. There is fine energy and detail to the delicious and appealingly textured medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a refreshing and lingering finish where a hint of bitter cherry pit character arises. This is very Vosne in style and a wine that should repay mid-term cellaring.
