Rainy summer, late harvest, as 2008 but completely different wine from 2008.
Dark garnet with inky core. Fragrant and fresh and almost leafy. Firm and chewy and lovely dry texture. Still a long way to go. Quite thick in texture but so generous in fruit. Very long with a warm but not hot finish. Mouth-watering even though it is so sweet with oak sweetness as well as the fruit. Perfumed and seductive. (JH)
