"Cantina Terlano" releases wines from its "Rarity" series only after they have been aged in its cellars for approximately 10 years, and the 2013 "Terlaner Rarity" is no exception. This wine, based on the Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) grape variety, was created by a cooperative that has been storing reserves from its “library” since 1893 and patiently waiting for these bottles to reach optimal drinking maturity. And this is precisely the true purpose of the “Rarity” series, to prove that white wines from the Alto Adige region also have aging potential. The optimal drinking window for this wine extends until 2045, meaning it still has the potential to age for several decades.
