A wine made by blending Savagnin (40%) and  Chardonnay (60%), grown in Pupillin and bottled under the Arbois appellation by Bruyere et Houillon. This wine was produced using the ouillé method, which involves topping up the wine rather than allowing a yeast veil to form in the barrel, ensuring the wine retains a fresher, more direct register.

This winery cultivates approximately 4 hectares of vineyards using biodynamic farming methods and follows an additive-free winemaking process, though it has not received certification for this practice.

In 2019, spring frosts returned to the Jura region, though they were less severe than in previous years; meanwhile, much of Europe experienced midsummer heat spikes with a lack of rain.

On the nose, it offers aromas of yellow apple and hazelnut, with a chalky, almost briny edge underlying the bouquet. The character of Savagnin is revealed not so much in its aroma as in the firm structure felt on the palate. In years with low yields, wines tend to become more concentrated; the 2019 vintage captures this concentration well without feeling heavy. It leaves a long finish with a mineral note. It is enjoyable now, but its flavors will blossom even more fully with exposure to air.

It is ready to drink now. Decant for about an hour.
