The 2020 Mixed Blacks Peugh Vineyard, from mixed vines originally planted in 1887, is hedonistic. It floods the senses with tones of apricot, wild berries, lavender and aniseed with soft, earthy undertones. The palate is concentrated and powerful with pleasantly chewy tannins balanced by juicy acidity, and it has a long, flavorful finish.

The grapes comes from very old vines from the late 1800's. A mix of 14+ grape varieties, like Chateauneuf du Pape, but includes grapes like Malvasia, Barbera and Alicante Bouschet. The result is a complex and well balanced wine.
