Niebaum Coppola
The historic Inglenook estate was originally founded in 1879 by Finnish sea captain Gustave Niebaum. In 1975, filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola purchased part of the estate, later restoring additional parcels and reuniting the historic property. The winery operated for a time under the Niebaum-Coppola and Rubicon Estate names before returning to the Inglenook name to emphasize heritage. Inglenook focuses on estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style blends from Rutherford.
