The depth of fruit in this is pretty extraordinary, with deep and dark fruit on the nose of blackberries, chocolate, ink pot, and dark chocolate. Precise and complete. Full-bodied with very fine and energetic tannins and fresh acidity. Red and black currants. Brightness throughout. Needs four to five years to open, but what a wine for the vintage.

The 2020 Vecina is one of the most expressive wine in this range today. It possesses gorgeous inner sweetness and perfume, albeit in the lighter style of the year. Succulent dark cherry, plum, mocha, new leather and licorice are nicely pushed forward. This is a gorgeous, polished wine and an especially fine achievement for the year.
