Number 26 in the Top 100 from 2023
A juicy Barolo, with vibrant acidity and a fluid profile that exudes cherry, raspberry, mown hay, mineral and eucalyptus aromas and flavors. Tight yet long, with excellent potential.
Aromas of crushed stone, flowers and berries follow through to a medium to full body with firm and velvety tannins and a juicy finish. Very primary now and needs time to develop in the bottle.
Barolo. Concentrated mid ruby. Complex and a little brooding on the nose. Fragrant and with the same lightness of touch as their Coste di Rose of the same vintage – if with more depth and more fruit concentration – and finely ground, supporting tannins. Closes up and needs more time in the bottle. (WS)
