Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet covers 3.7 hectares and is located on the southern slopes of the Montrachet hill near the commune of Puligny-Montrachet. The soil contains limestone and marl with a higher clay concentration, giving the wines a slightly heavier but robust character, which is enhanced by a characteristic minerality.
