Paris did well in 2014, and while the wines lack the density and depth of the 2015s, they have pure, classic and balanced characters. They’ll certainly be drinkable at an earlier age than his 2015s. The 2014 Cornas Granit 30 is terrific wine from this young vigneron. Plums, liquid violets, crushed rocks and hints of graphite all emerge from the glass and it's medium-bodied, supple, ripe and textured. It offers tons of pleasure and class.
Fresh and energetic, with a bright core of raspberry, pomegranate and cherry fruit liberally laced with savory and violet notes. A light chalky spine holds the finish. A more approachable style of Cornas, but with good typicity of flavors.
