Robert Parker (95)

Disgorged with in March 2019 with 2.4 grams per liter dosage, the NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Les Enfers (2014) is based on the 2014 vintage, supplemented by some 10% reserve wines, and spent fully 48 months on the lees. Opening in the glass with expressive aromas of fresh pastry, green mango, waxy citrus fruit and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, precise and elegantly enveloping, with superb depth at the core, racy acids and a beautifully defined, delicately chalky finish. Like all of Collin's 2014-base bottlings, this is a tender, charming rendition of Les Enfers.

Jancis Robinson (17.50)

This version of the blend, which contains 15% 2013 wine, had 48 months on the lees though there was an earlier release after 36 months. Collin pointed out that the extra year made an enormous difference.
The very distinctive nose had notes of milk, blue cheese and then segued into something mushroomy. On the finish it all tightened up into something neat and convincing.
