Tasted blind. Deep garnet colour. There is quite intense ripe fruit here, overlaid with a lightly metallic note. Lots of rather joyous ripe fruit with masses of Pinot character – almost exaggerated Pinot character! Full-on wine that I think few would put in Champagne if served it blind. Perhaps made from fruit with a carefully reduced yield? But well done!
