Here the wood treatment is less evident though not hidden as there is good transparency and freshness to the dark currant, cherry, earth and soft floral scents. Like the Fontenys the vibrant and delicious middle weight flavors possess a sleek mouth feel before culminating in balanced and impressively persistent finish. This is really quite stylish and unusually classy for the appellation.
