There is a touch of herbal tea present on the earthy and brooding nose that displays notes of ripe purple fruit and a hint of the sauvage. The medium weight plus flavors possess excellent mid-palate concentration as well as fine power before terminating in an intense, youthfully austere and muscular finish. This is going to require at least 7 to 8 years of cellar time and should reward 12 to 15.
