This time the colour is more purple than black. Perhaps the coolest site, certainly the last to pick. Interesting, complex nose, a bit of blackberry, maybe mulberry but mixed in with fresher red fruit notes. Seamless on the palate, sensual covering the plentiful but ripe tannins and with good acidity. Fresh in structure, florid in fruit profile.
Here too the cool and elegant nose of dark raspberry, forest floor and plethora of floral notes is markedly restrained. The super-sleek, intense and delicious medium-bodied flavors brim with minerality if not dry extract on the youthfully austere, chiseled and compact finale. This isn't super-dense but it's certainly very pretty and should easily repay 10 to 15 years of keeping.
