Burghound (93)

Whiffs of wood toast and mocha-suffused the riper aromas of plum and spiced tea. The supple, round and plush medium weight flavors exude a noticeable bead of minerality on the seductive mid-palate that immediately firms up on the dusty, youthfully austere and sneaky long finish. This is still both compact and quite primary so be prepared to allow at least some bottle aging as it's definitely promising.
