Once again there is a plethora of floral elements adding elegance to the nose of cool and restrained aromas that also include an exotic tea component. There is a bit more size, weight and volume to the more powerful, and more mineral-inflected, larger-scaled flavors that terminate in a serious, youthfully austere and built-to-age finale. This is a classically styled Richebourg of robust power and punch.
Paler colour than the Echezeaux with a very expressive nose. 50 whole bunch vinification for both wines. Despite the lighter start there is an enormous weight in the middle, then a gentler finish. Lovely lush strawberry and raspberry fruit with a floral touch. Properly long finish.
