Château Lalande‑Borie is located in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux. This estate is owned by the Borie family (who also own Château Ducru‑Beaucaillou). The vineyard covers about 22 ha and is planted with roughly 65 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 25 % Merlot and 10 % Cabernet Franc on gravel over clay soils. The wines are noted for being accessible in youth yet structured, offering a fine introduction to the Saint-Julien style.
