Chateau Lafleur Gazin 2005
|Brand||Chateau Lafleur Gazin|
This wine had just been fined when I tasted it, and was undoubtedly slightly restrained and dull because of that. Elegant plum, earth, pepper, and herbal notes can be found in this medium-bodied, somewhat superficial cuvee that lacks the depth and richness necessary to merit a higher score.
Winespectator / James Suckling (91)
Has berry and chocolate character, with hints of spice. Full-bodied, yet reserved and refined, with silky, tender tannins. Pretty and subtle.
