The 2017 Ried Kellerberg Grüner Veltliner Smaragd is intensely aromatic and flinty on the deep and complex nose with its ripe and tropical fruit aromas. Full-bodied, rich and very intense on the palate, this is a minerally and stunningly vital Kellerberg with a sweet and rich extract but good, balancing grip and remarkable length. Tasted in Oberloiben/Wachau, September 2018.
