This one’s made with ‘100% first-fill bourbon hogsheads’. Colour: straw. Nose: lots of soft vanilla, mullein flowers syrup, vanilla crème, mirabelle pie. Some white pepper underlining the whole. Rather delicate! Mouth: much bolder than expected. Candy sugar, herbal tea, apple skins, cooked melon. It gets just a little drying, with a finish on green tannins. The whole is very refined and elegant.
