The 2009 Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanee comes across as quite rich and powerful. It shows tremendous richness and volume, but this is at the end of its malo and is therefore hard to evaluate with full accuracy. Nevertheless, this is a promising wine and appears to be at least in line with its stable mates with regards to quality.
