Wild Duck Creek
Wild Duck Creek
Wild Duck Creek is a small, family winery in Heathcote, founded in the 1970s and directed for many years by David Anderson and family. The estate is best known for rich, concentrated Shiraz, particularly Springflat Shiraz and the limited Duck Muck bottling. Wine Advocate famously awarded very high scores to Duck Muck in the late 1990s–early 2000s, bringing international attention. The style tends toward opulent, densely fruited, high-extraction reds grown on Cambrian red soils of Heathcote.
