The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Derrière La Velle exhibits aromas of citrus oil, white flowers, struck match and fresh bread. Medium-bodied, bright and tangy, it's lively and charming, with an expressive core of fruit.

From old vines (1962) which give millerand grapes from which come power and structure. The nose is blunter and bulkier than Paupillot, suggesting the weight of fruit which does indeed come on the palate. It is somewhat solid in style with a little bit of oak, yet decent length.
