Jean-Marc Vincent began production of a solera style Aligoté in 2018. This, the first bottling, with 15% having been drawn off, is in fact a blend of 2018-19-20, as no 2021 was included and 2022 is too young. The nose is dampened down and made nuttier by this solera treatment. Then it opens out beautifully on the palate, a much fuller bodied Aligoté, yet with all its character amplified, and a little quince paste thrown in. Notably persistent with good but not trenchant acidity.
