A new addition to the range, the 2023 Meursault Les Clous delivers an ethereal bouquet of white flowers, citrus zest and buttery pastry, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless palate with good depth at the core, concluding with a mineral finish.
Mid lemon yellow. The nose shows the hillside origin and there is good tension on the palate, still in a crisper style with a touch of anis at the finish. This is a new cuvée ex Bouchard Père & Fils, and will in future be a domaine wine, but the paperwork was not ready for the 2023 vintage.
