Pretty fruit here with subtlety and verve. Flowers and hibiscus tea with orange peel and berries. Medium body. Fine tannins and a fresh finish.

Novello. Mid-to-deep ruby. Perfumed cherry with a hint of gingerbread but more complex than it sounds. Compact sour-cherry palate that is medium- rather than full-bodied and with a succulent finish carried by finely ground tannins. Still a little embryonic, tighter and a little more nervous than their Bricco delle Viole. (WS)
