The harvest here lasted from late September to early October, and the yield in Pfalz was approximately 4% lower than the previous year. This is only a slight decrease compared to the national yield, which was about 10% lower than the 10-year average.

In the glass, this means it has moderate alcohol content and a lighter structure than some recent, warmer vintages.
