“Château Romassan 2024” is a wine from Bandol produced by the Ott estate, which has been growing grapes on soils dominated by the Mourvèdre variety since 1956. Domaines Ott uses the principles of high planting density, strict yield control, organic farming, and the cultivation of grapes that ripen slowly under the Mediterranean sun and are cooled by the sea breeze. The Mourvèdre variety plays the leading role in the blend, while Grenache Noir and, occasionally, Cinsault provide support. It is precisely this that gives Romassan its distinctive character with each vintage.
