Bright, fresh and cool aromas include those of both red and blue pinot fruit as well as subtle earth wisps. The delicious, vibrant and nicely detailed middle weight flavors possess a lovely texture while delivering very good length on the youthfully austere and mildly rustic finale. This is a quality Pommard villages and worth a look.
From ancient vines. Deep dark purple, very rich fruity, rather in the sun-dried cherry style. Intense with high acidity and dry tannins. Very long thick textured finish, but the ripeness of the fruit has gone beyond my personal threshold.
