A fresh and high-toned mix including a suggestion of herbal tea on the mostly red berry and plum-scented nose. The supple, easy-going and caressing lighter weight flavors possess good punch that carries over to the mildly austere and rustic finish. This could also be enjoyed young.
From Ez Connardises. There is a corner of this plot which I drive past regularly which has been pulled out and will be replanted in white. Currently the Savigny is rather reductive on the nose. But there is a fine weight of dark raspberry fruit on the palate, maybe just a little bit gamey from the reduction.
