From a great vineyard next to Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru Clos de la Maréchale. Darkish purple. More substance than any other of her Côte de Nuits-Villages cuvées, with darker fruit. The whole bunch application (100%) is a triumph here. In other hands this might have been too ripe but it still works with a gorgeous blueberry fruit. Enjoying the rest of the bottle over dinner, I discovered a sense of harmony over and above what showed during the earlier tasting.
