A deep ruby/purple color combines with a sweet nose of minerals, blackberries, and cassis in this nicely-textured, medium-bodied 1998. It possesses excellent concentration, firm tannin, and admirable purity as well as balance. Like many wines from this estate, it requires patience, but will ultimately behave like a blue chip classified growth.
