The year 2020 is considered one of the best vintages in recent years in the Ribera del Duero region, and the “Astrales 2020” wine vividly reflects its characteristics. The Romera de la Cruz family hand-tends a vineyard of old Tempranillo vines in Anguix, and in May they performed green pruning to achieve greater concentration in the remaining fruit. The harvest took place in the fall, and the grapes were placed in small crates. Aging took place according to Astrales' traditional method in barrels made of French (80%) and American (20%) oak for 18 to 24 months. In addition to the full-bodied character typical of Ribera del Duero, you can expect the refined flavor profile characteristic of high-quality vintages.
