Also racked. 70% whole bunch vinification. One new barrel in 5.5. Mid purple in colour with a very spicy nose, stopping short of smoky. Pleasing deep raspberry fruit with some softer strawberry at the edges, very charming, medium plus length, no awkward tannins, a lovely and quite graceful Cardeuse. The whole bunch approach has worked very well, with a fair amount of oak which will blend in – already has.
