A more deeply pitched nose derives from the darker side of the fruit spectrum and is liberally laced with hints of spice, herbal tea, newly turned earth and a floral top note. There is impressive volume and richness to the beautifully textured medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a strikingly long and youthfully austere finale. This could use better depth though that should just be a matter of patience.
A lighter mid purple. The bouquet has a mix of soft red fruits, on the palate slightly held in check at the moment by the oak, giving a light youthful bitterness. A mix of cherry and strawberry. Fair length.
